| Beschrijving keerzijde | A camp gate with four turrets and open doors occupies the centre of the reverse field, its façade articulated by a varying number of horizontal stone courses rendered in low relief. A single star appears above the gate in the upper field, symbolising divine favour. The legend VIRTV-S CAESS, split across the field on either side of the gate, proclaims the martial virtue of the Caesars. The exergue bears the officina letter and mintmark of the Arelate mint, separated by a crescent. |
