Additional information

The BEATA TRANQUILLITAS ("Blessed Tranquility") issue belongs to a brief window of nominal peace within Constantine's reign, struck while the uneasy co-rule between Constantine and Licinius was visibly fracturing — war between them would resume in 324. The London mint, operating under the mark PLON, was closed permanently around 325, making its output from these final years comparatively limited. RIC VII 257 is among the later London emissions before that closure.
