| Obverse description | Radiate, laureate, and draped bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing left, rendered in the late Roman imperial style. The effigy depicts the young Caesar holding a sceptre in his right hand and a mappa in his left, attributes signifying his elevated imperial rank. The obverse legend encircles the bust, identifying the prince by his full titulature. The portraiture reflects the standardised workshop style of the Heraclean mint during the early Constantinian period. |

The reverse legend PROVIDENTIAE CAESS arcs across the field above the gate, proclaiming the providence of the two Caesars.
