Obverse description Helmeted, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantine II (as Caesar) facing right, wearing a crested helmet adorned with a plume, the portrait rendered in the vigorous late Constantinian style typical of the Londinium mint. The effigy displays pronounced military attire with carefully engraved pauldron and drapery folds visible at the truncation. The surrounding legend is divided by the bust and reads CONSTANTI-NVS IVN N C or CONSTANT-INVS IVN N C, identifying the subject as Constantinus Iunior, Nobilis Caesar. The flan is slightly irregular and the fields show an even bronze patina consistent with circulation wear.
