| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two helmeted soldiers standing facing one another, each holding a spear in the outer hand and resting the inner hand upon a round shield set at their feet. Between the two figures stands a single legionary standard surmounted by a Chi-Rho or eagle finial, emphasising the one-standard variant of the GLORIA EXERCITVS type. The legend GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, meaning 'Glory of the Army', is divided on either side of the central composition. A mint mark appears in the exergue identifying the Siscia mint and its officina. |
