| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays an inscription arranged in four lines across the field, reading CONSTAN / TINVS / CAESAR, with the mint mark PTR in the exergue denoting the Treveri mint. An eight-pointed star occupies the upper field above the legend, serving as a decorative and possibly symbolic device. The bold, squared lettering is characteristic of the Constantinian-era officinae at Augusta Treverorum. The overall design is purely epigraphic, with no figurative imagery, a type associated with votive or celebratory issues of the junior Caesars. |
