| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing right, depicted with youthful features characteristic of his early imperial portraiture. The effigy is rendered in low relief with a laureate wreath crowning the head, consistent with the Caesar titulature of the period. The circumferential legend, executed in Latin capitals, identifies the subject as Constantine the Younger with the title Nobilissimus Caesar. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, typical of hammered bronze issues from the Siscia mint in the early fourth century. |
