| 背面描述 | Votive inscription VOT X arranged within two lines, enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base, commemorating the completion of ten years of vows (vota decennalia) for Constantine II as Caesar. The legend CAESARVM NOSTRORVM encircles the wreath, identifying this issue as one struck in honor of the Caesars. The mintmark in the exergue identifies the Siscia officina, accompanied by a palm branch to the right, as consistent with RIC VII 176. |

The VOT X votive legend on this Siscia issue marks the tenth anniversary of Constantine II's elevation as Caesar, a rank he received in 317 at roughly eighteen months old — making the vows nominally his but the politics entirely his father's. RIC VII 176 is one of several closely related Siscia types from this period, a mint that Constantine I favored heavily during his consolidation of western power following the defeat of Licinius, when Siscia's proximity to the Danube frontier made it strategically central to both military supply and propaganda coinage.
