Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing right, depicted with a youthful, draped effigy showing finely rendered hair combed forward in the Constantinian fashion. The portrait is set within a double beaded border. The surrounding legend reads CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, identifying the prince as Constantine the Younger, Most Noble Caesar. The overall style is characteristic of the London mint's refined late Constantinian engraving.
