Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantinus II as Caesar facing right, depicted with a paludamentum draped over the left shoulder. The effigy presents the youthful prince in a conventional military portrait style typical of the Constantinian period. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, identifying him as the junior Caesar. The coin surface shows a broad, slightly irregular flan characteristic of late Roman hammered bronze coinage.
