| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing right, rendered in the Constantinian court style with finely detailed paludamentum and lorica squamata visible at the shoulder. The portrait presents the youthful features of the prince with a laurel wreath crowning the head, emphasizing his elevated rank. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, distributed around the periphery within a beaded border. The bust is executed in moderate relief consistent with the late Tetrarchic–early Constantinian aesthetic of Sirmium workshop production. |
