| Aanvullende informatie |
The VRBS ROMA type was introduced in 330 AD as part of Constantine's commemoration of the new eastern capital, paired with a matching CONSTANTINOPOLIS issue — two cities, one dynastic statement. Treveri (modern Trier) had been the administrative capital of the western empire for decades and remained a primary mint under Constantine, producing enormous volumes of these small bronzes. The RIC VII 529 variety is among the more frequently encountered Trier products of the series, reflecting the mint's high output capacity during this window.
