Obverse description Helmeted and draped bust of Roma facing left, personifying the eternal city, wearing a crested helmet and imperial paludamentum. The effigy is rendered in the late Roman style with bold, stylized features characteristic of Constantinian mint production. The legend VRBS ROMA is inscribed around the periphery in Latin capitals, identifying the type as a commemorative issue honoring the city of Rome. The coin exhibits the irregular flan and somewhat worn relief typical of hammered bronze nummi from the Lugdunum mint of this period.
