| 背面描述 | Central field displays a votive shield inscription VOT XXX enclosed within a finely rendered laurel wreath tied at the base, commemorating the emperor's thirtieth vow of loyalty. The encircling legend DN CONSTANTINI MAX AVG runs around the wreath in the outer field. The mintmark, identifying the officina of the Rome mint, appears in the exergue. A beaded border frames the entire design, and the coin bears a pierced hole consistent with ancient or post-antique use as a pendant. |

The VOT XXX ("vota tricennalia") inscription marks anticipation of Constantine's thirtieth regnal anniversary, celebrated in 335–336 — these coins were struck several years in advance as a form of public prayer that the emperor would reach the milestone. Rome's mint was by this point politically peripheral; Constantine had refounded Byzantium as Constantinople in 330, and the western mints were largely producing ceremonial and votive issues rather than primary coinage for the field armies.
RIC VII 322 is among the scarcer Rome mint emissions of this reign, reflecting the city's reduced output role after the capital's transfer east.
