| Reverse description | The deified Constantine I depicted standing facing right, veiled and fully draped in priestly robes, his figure rendered in a frontal yet slightly turned stance consistent with consecratio coinage iconography. The emperor stands upon a low base or altar, with both arms at his sides beneath the enveloping drapery. The abbreviated legend VN - MR flanks the central figure on either side in the field, reading Venerated Memory (VNMR for Venerandae Memoriae). The mint mark SMKZ (or similar officina letter) appears in the exergue, identifying the Cyzicus mint. |
