The VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP type was struck across multiple western mints in 319–320 to celebrate Constantine's quinquennalia — the fifth anniversary of his rule — and the concurrent elevation of his sons Crispus and Constantine II as Caesars. Londinium's output in this period was already winding down; the mint would be permanently closed by 325, making PLN-marked bronzes among the final products of what had been Rome's most northerly active mint.
