Reverse description Victory advancing right, depicted in flowing robes, carrying a large trophy over her left shoulder with both hands and treading upon a captive Sarmatian enemy prostrate at her feet, the captive shown kneeling with head turned back. The exergue contains the mint mark within a wreath-like lunate symbol, reading PTR or STR depending on officina. The encircling Latin legend SARMATIA DEVICTA commemorates Constantine's victory over the Sarmatians in 323 AD.
