| Description du revers | Radiate, draped bust of Sol (the Sun god) facing right, the radiate crown rendered with prominent outward-pointing rays framing the deity's head in a manner evocative of earlier radiate coinage. The drapery falls across the left shoulder. Sol is depicted in a quasi-divine portrait style distinguishing him from the imperial obverse. The encircling Latin legend SOLI INVICTO COMITI runs around the field within a dotted border, identifying Sol as the unconquered companion of the emperor. |
