Obverse description Laureate and rosette-diademed bust of Constantine I facing right, draped and cuirassed, rendered in the late Constantinian imperial style with strong, idealised facial features. The diadem is clearly articulated across the brow, set with a rosette motif characteristic of this emission. The circumferential legend CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG identifies the emperor in his capacity as Maximus Augustus, the titulature disposed evenly around the bust on a slightly irregular flan typical of hammered bronze coinage of the period.

Reverse description A campgate depicted frontally at centre, comprising two crenellated turrets flanking a central arched gateway without doors, with multiple horizontal masonry courses clearly delineated across the structure. A single star occupies the upper field above the gateway, serving as a symbol of divine favour and Constantinian solar imagery. The circumferential legend PROVIDENTIAE AVGG encircles the type, invoking the providence of the Augusti, while the exergual mint mark SMKA denotes the Sacra Moneta of Cyzicus, first officina. The campgate type was a standard vehicle of Constantinian dynastic propaganda emphasising military security and imperial foresight.
