| Beschrijving keerzijde | The personification of Roma or a Victory figure is depicted seated facing left on a throne or cuirass, holding a globe surmounted by a Victory in the outstretched right hand and a reversed spear or sceptre in the left, evoking Roman imperial dominion. The figure is rendered in flowing drapery with detailed folds consistent with the workshop style of the Constantinople mint during the late 320s. The encircling legend GLORIA RO-MANORVM flanks the central type, and the mint mark CONS, denoting the Constantinople mint, appears in the exergue. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
