Obverse description Right-facing bust of Constantine I rendered in late Roman imperial style, rosette-diademed, draped, and cuirassed, with the head turned slightly to the right. The emperor's effigy displays a prominent diadem adorned with rosettes, with hair rendered in short close-cropped detail beneath. The cuirass and draped paludamentum are visible at the shoulder, conveying imperial military authority. The encircling obverse legend CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG runs along the rim, identifying the emperor as Constantine the Great Augustus. The portrait reflects the stylized, almost hieratic quality characteristic of Constantinian-era mint production.
