Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath and articulated shoulder armour. The emperor's strong, idealized profile is characteristic of the Tetrarchic artistic style transitioning toward the Constantinian period. The legend encircles the bust along the beaded border of the flan. The cuirass is visible at the truncation, with paludamentum fastened at the shoulder, conveying imperial military authority.
