| Beschrijving keerzijde | Sol Invictus, the Unconquered Sun, depicted standing facing left in a long radiate crown and chlamys, his right hand raised in salutation and his left hand holding a globe. A star appears in the left field and the mintmark letter T-F flanks the deity in the field to either side. The exergue bears the mint mark of Treveri. The encircling legend SOLI INVIC-TO COMITI identifies Sol as the companion and protector of the emperor, a key religious motif of early Constantinian coinage. |
