Obverse description Laureate bust of Constantine I facing left, draped in the trabea and holding an eagle-tipped sceptre in the right hand. The imperial effigy is rendered in a formal, late Roman style with pronounced facial features. The obverse legend is arranged in two segments around the bust, reading CONSTANTI-NVS AVG or CONSTAN-TINVS AVG.

Reverse description A globe surmounting a draped altar, upon whose face the votive inscription VOT/IS/XX is inscribed in three lines within a central panel flanked by pilasters. Three stars appear in the upper field above the globe. The officina letter P appears to the left of the altar and A to the right, while the mint mark PLON is inscribed in the exergue, identifying the Londinium mint. The reverse legend BEATA *** TRA-NQVILLITAS, proclaiming Blessed Tranquility, runs around the periphery.
