Reverse description The Genius of the Roman People stands facing left in the center of the field, depicted as a nude or semi-draped male figure wearing a modius (grain measure crown) atop his head. In his right hand he holds a patera for libation, and in his left arm he cradles a cornucopia, symbolizing abundance and divine favor bestowed upon Rome. The reverse legend GENIO - POP ROM is divided on either side of the central figure in Latin capitals. The mint mark PLN appears in the exergue, denoting the Prima officina of the Londinium (London) mint, the whole framed by a beaded border.
