Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine II as Caesar facing right, draped over the left shoulder, depicted as a youthful prince. The effigy is rendered in the characteristic late Roman imperial style with pronounced facial features. The encircling legend reads CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, identifying him as Constantinus Junior, Noble Caesar, and is separated from the portrait by a beaded border.
