Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, wearing a helmet adorned with a crest and decorative cheek-guards, with visible paludamentum at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in a bold, late Roman imperial style with strong facial modeling. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTAN-TINVS AVG, separated by the bust, contained within a beaded border.

Reverse description A vexillum (military standard) displayed centrally, its shaft planted on the ground, bearing the inscription VOT XX on a decorated cloth and flanked by two bound captives seated on the ground in postures of submission, their hands tied behind their backs. The field contains the control marks S and F to left and right respectively, with the mint mark PLG in the exergue. The reverse legend VIRTVS EXERCIT encircles the scene, reading from lower left to upper right, within a beaded border.
