Obverse description Laureate bust of Constantine I facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath, whose ties are visible at the nape. The emperor is depicted without drapery, presenting a strongly modelled profile with sharp, idealized features characteristic of the Constantinian court style. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTAN-TINVS AVG, distributed around the bust from lower left to lower right. The field is plain and unadorned, directing full attention to the imperial effigy.
