| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Constantine I facing left, rendered with commanding imperial authority; the emperor holds a globe in his right hand, a sceptre and mappa in his left, attributes emblematic of universal sovereignty. The portrait displays a sturdy, naturalistic physiognomy characteristic of the Constantinian workshop style. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP CONSTA-NTINVS AVG, interrupted by the bust.
