| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Constantine I facing right, depicted with a robust, slightly idealized portrait in the late Roman imperial style. The emperor's hair is rendered in fine radiating lines beneath the laurel wreath, with strong facial features including a prominent jaw and upward gaze. The obverse legend encircles the bust, reading CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG, identifying the emperor as Maximus Augustus. A small officina mark appears in the lower field. The die work reflects the vigorous engraving style characteristic of the Constantinople mint in the Constantinian period. |

| Reverse description | Victory, personified as a winged female figure, seated facing left upon a shield placed on a rocky crag, inscribing VOT/XXX on the shield or a similar votive inscription. To either side stand two small Victories or captive figures, reinforcing the theme of Roman triumph. The reverse legend CONSTANTINIANA DAFNE encircles the scene, commemorating the Roman victory at Daphne near Adrianople in AD 328. The officina letter Z appears in the field, and the mint mark CONS is placed in the exergue, identifying the Constantinople mint. The composition celebrates Constantine I's military successes and the founding prestige of the new imperial capital. |
