Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constans I facing right, the diadem adorned with rosettes and the paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic late Roman style, with fine facial detail and layered drapery folds. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTANS P F AVG, positioned along the outer border of the flan.

Reverse description A soldier standing facing, head turned to the left, depicted in full military attire including helmet, breastplate, and military cloak (paludamentum). The figure holds a reversed spear in the right hand and rests the left hand on a grounded shield. The Latin legend VIRTVS AVGG NN surrounds the field to the left, while the exergue bears the mint mark TRP, denoting the first officina of the Treveri (Trier) mint.
