Obverse description Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Constans I, adorned with a rosette diadem composed of beaded rows and floral ornaments, the hair rendered in fine parallel striations falling behind the ear. The imperial effigy is depicted in the standard late Roman military manner, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder visible below the cuirass. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTANS P F AVG, distributed around the bust within a beaded border.
