| Beschrijving keerzijde | Two helmeted, draped, and cuirassed soldiers stand facing one another, each holding an inverted spear in the outer hand while resting the inner hand upon a grounded shield. A single legionary standard is placed centrally between the two figures, a motif characteristic of the GLORIA EXERCITVS type. The reverse legend GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS is divided across the field to either side of the design, and the exergue bears the officina mark and mintmark of the Rome mint, flanked by palm branches. |
