Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constans I facing right, wearing a pearl diadem with a rosette at the center. The emperor is depicted in a youthful, idealized portrait with closely cropped hair visible beneath the diadem. The paludamentum is fastened at the right shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads D N CONSTANS P F AVG, identifying the emperor as Our Lord Constans, Pious and Blessed Augustus.
