| Reverse description | A Roman soldier, helmeted and in military attire, stands facing left on a galley or ship prow, holding a Victory on a globe in his right hand and resting his left hand on a grounded shield or spear, embodying the FEL TEMP REPARATIO (Restoration of Happy Times) type. The exergue contains the mint mark of the Arelate officina (PARL or SARL), identifying the workshop of issue. The reverse legend FEL TEMP REPARATIO is distributed around the periphery in Latin capitals. A beaded border surrounds the entire composition, consistent with the Arelate mint production of this period under RIC VIII 117. |
