Reverse description The emperor Constans, draped and cuirassed, stands facing left, grasping a military standard in his right hand while resting his left hand upon a large shield. At his feet, two captives kneel facing one another in a gesture of submission, their heads turned inward toward each other. A star appears in the left field, serving as a control mark. The mintmark and officina letter are recorded in the exergue. The reverse legend FEL TEMP REPA-RATIO, meaning 'restoration of happy times,' is divided by the central design.
