| Reverse description | Two helmeted soldiers, each clad in military attire and holding a spear, stand facing one another on either side of a legionary standard surmounted by a chi-rho (Christogram) medallion. The standard bears the vexillum bearing the letters of the emperor's monogram, with the staff resting on a series of globules. The encircling legend reads GLORIA EXERCITVS, proclaiming the glory of the armies. The mint mark TRP appears in the exergue, indicating production at the first officina of the Treveri mint. |
