| Description du revers | Two helmeted, draped, and cuirassed soldiers stand facing one another in a symmetrical composition, each holding a reversed spear in his outer hand while resting his inner hand upon a grounded shield. Between the two figures, two military standards are prominently displayed, their shafts decorated with wreaths or roundels, a motif emblematic of imperial military glory. The reverse legend GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, meaning 'The Glory of the Army,' is divided across the field flanking the standards. The mintmark and officina letter appear in the exergue, identifying the Antioch mint and its specific workshop. |
