| Obverse description | Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Constans I, adorned with a rosette diadem, rendered in a bold late Roman imperial style. The emperor's portrait displays carefully detailed hair arranged in rows of tight curls beneath the jewelled headband, with the neck and paludamentum folds clearly articulated. The obverse legend encircles the effigy in Latin capital letters, interrupted by a central break. The overall execution is typical of the Siscia mint workshop of the mid-fourth century, with a firm, well-struck profile. |
