| Beschrijving voorzijde | Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of the Emperor Arcadius facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style typical of the Theodosian period. The diadem is composed of pearls, and the paludamentum is visible at the shoulder. The effigy is set within a beaded border, with the obverse legend disposed around the periphery of the flan.
