Obverse description Forepart of a wild boar advancing to the left, rendered in bold relief characteristic of Apulian aes grave coinage. The animal's head is prominently modelled with a discernible eye and snout, and the bristled back is suggested by incised lines. The casting is robust, with the figure occupying the central field of the broadly lenticular flan. No legend or inscription is present.
