正面描述 Draped bust of an anonymous ruler facing right, wearing a turban, rendered in a schematic Indo-Scythian style typical of the Northern Satraps series. The effigy occupies the central field of the flan, with the portrait showing characteristic provincial die-cutting. No surrounding legend or inscription is present. The flan is irregular and somewhat crude, consistent with locally produced hammered lead coinage of the period.

附加信息

The Northern Satraps operated as a subordinate Indo-Scythian dynasty across the northwestern Indian subcontinent, issuing coins in copper and lead for local circulation while their Kshatrapa overlords handled silver. Anonymous lead issues like this one were almost certainly produced for the lowest tier of market transactions — denominations too small to justify metal of any real value. Senior 167.1 is documented with limited die study, and attribution of unsigned types to specific satrapal reigns remains an open problem in the series.
