| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, adorned with a triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; the crested Attic helmet is decorated with a figure of Skylla hurling a stone. The portrait is rendered in fine high-relief style characteristic of South Italian Greek coinage of the late fifth to mid-fourth century BC. Magistrate initials appear in the field. |

| Reverse description | Herakles standing facing with upper torso turned to the right, engaged in combat with the Nemean Lion in the First Labour; the hero grapples the beast with both arms in a strangle-hold. His club and the magistrate's inscription ΚΑΛ appear to the left of the group, while the ethnic legend |-HPAKΛHIΩN runs along the right. An owl standing right with head facing is visible between the legs of Herakles, serving as an additional control symbol. The composition is bold and dynamic, reflecting the high artistic standards of Lucanian Greek die-engravers. |
