Obverse description Crude hammered field bearing bold Arabic script occupying the majority of the flan, with the emperor's name or regnal title rendered in large, angular calligraphic strokes characteristic of Mughal copper coinage. The legends are deeply struck but irregularly distributed across the surface, reflecting the hand-struck production technique. The coin's irregular planchet results in partially visible inscriptions near the rim. The overall style is consistent with the utilitarian aesthetic of provincial Mughal dam-series copper issues.
