| Aanvullende informatie |
The Narnol mint operated under Akbar during the years when his administration was still consolidating control over the former Sur dynasty territories in the Punjab and Haryana region. Narnol itself sat on a significant trade route, and its mint activity in this period reflects deliberate Mughal policy of reactivating local coinage infrastructure rather than centralizing all copper production — a practical concession to regional commerce that predates Akbar's later monetary reforms of the 1570s.
