Obverse description The obverse depicts a detailed high-relief view of the three towers of San Marino (Guaita, Cesta, and Montale) atop their rocky promontory, surmounted by the State crown flanked by laurel and oak branches. The circumferential legend reads REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO, with the word LIBERTAS inscribed on a scroll in the lower exergue, and the fineness mark Ag 800 visible in the right field.

Reverse description The reverse features a high-relief figure of Saint Marinus kneeling in the field, robed and bearded, holding a square and a staff, with a stylised rocky landscape and a view of the fortress of San Marino in the background.
