Obverse description Forepart of a seal (phoke) in low relief, rendered in the archaic Ionian style characteristic of early Phokaian electrum coinage. The animal's prominent, stylized eye is depicted frontally as a bold raised oval with a central pellet, serving as the dominant design element in the field. Two rounded pellets are visible to the right of the eye, likely representing the animal's snout or muzzle. The flan is small and irregular, with the design occupying the majority of the available surface. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with the earliest issues of Greek electrum fractional coinage.
