Obverse description Facing right bust of Attis, depicted wearing a distinctive Phrygian cap; the portrait is rendered in archaic Greek style with fine engraving appropriate to the diminutive flan. Beneath the principal device, a tunny fish is shown in profile facing right, serving as the characteristic civic badge of Kyzikos. The obverse design occupies a slightly convex, smooth field consistent with electrum coinage of the Mysian mint.
