| Additional information |
Leukai was a minor Greek colonial settlement on the western coast of Sicily, and its civic bronze issues are among the least documented in the Sikeliot series. The Winterthur reference places this piece in a narrow typological grouping, but the polis itself left almost no literary record — its coins are frequently the primary evidence for its institutional existence at all.
