| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displaying a multi-line Kufic Arabic inscription within a circular border, partially obscured by surface corrosion and encrustation. A continuous marginal Arabic legend surrounds the central medallion, with an isolated word or phrase visible in the upper field above the main inscription. The reverse flan exhibits the same broad, thin, irregular hammered fabric as the obverse, with areas of pitting and oxidation consistent with prolonged burial or circulation. The overall layout conforms to standard Samanid epigraphic coinage conventions, featuring religious and dynastic formulae. |
